"SPACE exhibition has both literal and metaphysical interpretations. We invite the viewer to reflect on our physical environment as well as the vast and abstract concept that encompasses the infinite, the intimate and also the existential. Our artists have captured the mystery and beauty of the space that we inhabit as well as the abstract idea of shapes, numbers and personal spaces. Space has a different meaning to all of us and can evoke emotions and thoughts, hence a dialogue about mental boundaries, private spaces and safe space speaks to our modern world. Space also refers to the built environment and urban architecture - and how our world around us influences our behaviour and daily interactions. Space cannot be mentioned without speaking about TIME and here we bring you into the world of ancient animals re-invented into contemporary sculptures, timeless ceramic “organic” pieces and conceptual sculptures.
Allow this exhibition to challenge you and encourage you to reflect to the unseen. With so much news about space travel currently, this exhibition addresses the subject of space on a universal as well as a cellular level and at the same time."
