Karoo Doring IV {Karoo Doring Series}

"This collection will feature 12 enlarged plant species from the Karoo in the Northern cape province. I am working with steel, shaping it by forging it into the main shape and then refine it using an angle grinder. I then finish of the pieces with a natural black oxide and bees wax. The sculptures will be mounted on sand stone from the area."
