Peace

"In this work, I shed light on the most important source of food, which is the bread. The latter has gained great importance in people’s lives, not only as food but also as an important symbol to ensure stability and peace and human desire to live. Bread is one of the oldest elements of alimentation in many ancient civilizations such as Pharaohs and Greeks. It is also part of many Political and economic slogans.

Bread creates an important symbol for peace and stability of the world, as it is an aspect of the humankind existence.

Everyday, I watch these bacteria eating and disintegrating bread daily. The bacteria are formed in different colors until they reach the black color and how they attack the nourishing parts of the bread. Their spread as colonies and co-existence in a symbiotic manner invites us to think about the world.

I planted the bacteria on the bread and wrote the word "peace." Then the bacteria spread until all aspects of bread disappeared and this happened when peace disappeared from all the world.”
