"We need the tonic of wilderness... At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature." - Henry David Thoreau
The exhibition 'Days of being wild' takes place during the winter months of 2022 at the Cavalli Estate Gallery. The themes that are explored are motivated by nature and our pre-sentiment of the winter months. From untamed wilnernesses to lonely landscapes, both figurative and literal. Participating artists are encouraged to explore their own personal perception and application pertaining to the "unfathomable wild".
The selection includes figurative, abstract, landscape and conceptual work.
